Terms & Conditions

By accessing the Park Heights Community Health Alliance, Inc. (“PHCHA”) website or registering for PHCHA classes, events, trainings, or services, you agree to the following terms.

Effective Date: August 2026

Programs and Registration

PHCHA offers wellness classes, community events, educational programs, trainings, certifications, and other services.

Program schedules, instructors, locations, availability, and pricing may change when necessary. Registration does not guarantee that a program will occur if circumstances require cancellation or rescheduling.

Payments

When payment is required, registration may not be considered complete until payment has been successfully processed.

Any applicable cancellation, refund, or transfer policies will be communicated during registration or in program materials.

Health and Wellness Disclaimer

PHCHA's yoga, meditation, movement, sound healing, assisted stretching, and other wellness offerings are educational and wellness-focused services and are not substitutes for medical care, diagnosis, physical therapy, mental health treatment, or other licensed healthcare services.

Participants are responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for them and are encouraged to consult an appropriate healthcare professional when necessary.

Participants should work within their own abilities and communicate any relevant limitations to the facilitator when appropriate.

Assumption of Risk

Participation in physical and wellness activities may involve inherent risks. By voluntarily participating, participants acknowledge these risks and accept responsibility for participating within their individual abilities and comfort levels.

Additional waivers or consent forms may be required for certain programs or services.

Certifications and Trainings

Participation in or completion of a PHCHA training does not authorize a participant to provide services outside the scope of their individual education, credentials, licenses, or applicable laws.

Specific certification requirements, attendance expectations, assessments, and completion standards may apply and will be communicated for each training.

Conduct

PHCHA is committed to maintaining a respectful, welcoming environment. PHCHA reserves the right to address behavior that is disruptive, threatening, discriminatory, unsafe, or substantially interferes with the experience of participants, staff, facilitators, or guests.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, PHCHA-created website content, training materials, curriculum, graphics, written materials, and other original content may not be reproduced, distributed, sold, or used commercially without permission.

Changes

PHCHA may update these Terms & Conditions as programs, services, or website functionality change.
